Blue Flax-lily Raffia
This special bundle of Besalampy Extra (BEX) grade, Madagascan raffia has been dyed with the flowers of the blue flax-lily/Dianella caerulea. There are several species of flax-lily or Dianella with the berries ranging from edible to poisonous to consume. Historically, the fruit of Dianella was used by Aboriginal Australians to dye native grasses and make Dillybags and baskets. Amazing right!?
This is a limited edition colour, as the blue flax-lily blooms in spring/summer. I only have 1 bush so this colour is SUPER LIMITED!
So get your hands on this small-batch or else you will have to wait until next year!
